Green, yellow, red
Every diary comes back as a report on your own speech. Nothing gets rewritten: seeing where you stumbled is how you improve.
- Green you nailed it: natural, correct, worth repeating.
- Yellow you got stuck: fillers, restarts, a sentence that tangled.
- Red a grammar or word slip, with the fix and a short explanation.
In the daily meeting I presented the new, uh, the new onboarding flow, and I didn't need to read my notes. After the meeting Lucas said me that my English is getting much better.

With “say”, the person comes after “to”: “said to me”. Or use “tell”: “told me”.
Every word you've said, counted
The Words tab collects each word you've used correctly, how many times, and the diaries where it shows up. Tap a word to hear it and see where you said it. Names of people and places get a list of their own.
Your Fool Index
One number for how you speak, combining clarity (fewer errors and stumbles), vocabulary (how many different words you use) and fluency (your rhythm and pauses). Follow it by day, week, month or year, keep your streak going and get a tip on what to work on next.

How does the free trial work?
Choose the monthly or yearly plan in the app and you get 7 days of Premium for free. You won't be charged during the trial. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, the subscription starts automatically at the price shown in the app. The free trial is available once per Apple ID.
What do I get with Premium?
A new diary whenever you want, each with its full report: marks, highlights and coaching. Your words and your Fool Index keep growing with every entry.
Without a subscription your diaries are still yours: you can read and listen to everything you've recorded.
How do I cancel?
Apple handles the billing, so you cancel with Apple. On your iPhone, go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Fools Diary → Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge; Premium stays on until the end of the period you've paid for.
Deleting the app or your account does not cancel the subscription.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds for App Store purchases are decided by Apple. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Who can hear my recordings?
Nobody on our team listens to your recordings. They're kept in private storage, travel over encrypted connections and only open through links that expire within an hour.
To build your report, the audio is transcribed and the text analysed by our service providers, under terms that don't let them train their models on it. We don't sell your data and the app has no advertising tracking.
You can delete a single diary at any time, or everything at once in Profile → Delete account. All the details are in the Privacy Policy.
Which languages can I practise?
English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Norwegian. Pick one when you start and switch anytime in Profile. The app's interface and tips are available in more than 30 languages.
